I don't understand what I must prove to accommodate you?

That 4M people were kicked off their "if you like your employer plan you can keep it" plan?

Or that your boss can decide to cancel your health insurance at any time they want?

    What is the lie?

Most employers are Republican, especially the ones around here.

So what happens when they can't anymore?

Have they thought that far ahead?

    Have you?

    This doesn't make me happy.

    Maybe you're misunderstanding me.

I support Medicare for All because tying health care to employment is stupid, expensive, and risky.

Then they must be thrilled that government was shrunk so much it couldn't respond effectively to the pandemic.

BTW - in employer-provided plans, the employee still has to pay premiums, copays, and deductibles.

So what happens when the employee isn't getting paid, but the employer is still paying for the insurance? How is the employee supposed to pay their share of the premiums if they don't have any work?

Of course the MSM debate moderators were not going to ask that loaded question. They kept repeating...

Senator Sanders, how are you going to pay for it?" "Senator Sanders, how are you going to pay for it?" "Senator Sanders, how are you going to pay for it?" "Senator Sanders, how are you going to pay for it?" Despite the fact that he answered them over and over again in the previous debates.

A Modest Proposal For Separating Blue States From Red

    Dear Red-State Trump Voter,
Let’s face it, guys: We’re done.

It is a tragedy that so much of the work that so many men and women toiled at for so long to make this a better country, and a better world, has been thrown away, leaving us all in such needless peril.

This is why our separation in all but name is necessary.

Of course they do. Your boss has the final say on what insurance they provide you.

So if your boss decides they don't want to provide your insurance plan anymore, then you lose your insurance plan.

So you don't get to keep it if you like it...you only get to keep it if your boss likes it.

    Oh word?

Because as of March 26th (5 days ago), 3.28M people had already lost their jobs and the insurance tied to those jobs. More people are being laid off every day. So 4M is a conservative (small C) estimate.

Of course, we know how it is paid for...swapping a payroll tax for premiums/deductibles/copays/coinsurance/vision/dental/coinsurance/ambulance fees/hospital stays/prescription drugs.

Doing so saves at least $1T.

Even the Mercatus Center says so, and they are Koch-backed.

It is obvious you don't participate in a workplace.

What's obvious is that every instinct you have is wrong, and every judgment you make is poor.

And because your life has no meaning, you live vicariously through Trump.

Which means you are unable to handle any criticism of Trump, because it would be criticism of yourself.

So you're basically in a death cult now.

Your "post" was just your little tantrum, fantasizing about me because you know there's no defense of the poor choices and lack of good judgment you've made throughout your life.

Now we are all facing the consequences of that poor judgment because of who you chose to vote for in 2016.

So as you sit at home in isolation, vulnerable to an invisible virus that doesn't discriminate, you conclude that you've made good life choices?

    You haven't. You've just joined a cult.
