Default NFL Draft - all telecomm?

With all sporting events being cancelled, the NFL Draft may be the only thing saving us.

I do have an issue with one thing I keep reading about. And that is that Tua will be the first pick.

Now it is no secret that I am a huge Crimson Tide fan. And I love what Tua did for us, especially that amazing final play against Georgia for the national championship. But Tua was hurt most of the time he played for Bama. If he can't stay healthy against college defenses, how will he do against professionals? I don't see him being very successful.

I would pick Chase Young first, regardless of the team I am picking for.

TBH, everything I've read and every mock draft I've seen has shown Burrow as the number one pick. Not saying you're wrong but I haven't seen a single publication state Tua would be number one (post injury).

You are right to question his viability (remember RG3?)
But Joe is #1. Tua may be #3 or lower.

Even among Alabama players, there are other I would select first. Jerry Jeudy comes to mind. Stellar wide receiver. Or Henry Ruggs III. Great hands and ran a 4.27 40.

You know the NFL is a QB driven league. Hard to succeed without a good/great one. If you are in need of one 9.9 times out of 10 you will take the QB over the WR.

True. But a great QB without great receivers is not a good situation either. And this draft has 4 or 5 QBs that could become good NFL players.

No question. But right or wrong (and I happen to agree) they'll still draft QB's ahead of WR's every time at the top of the draft.

Dolphins want to get No. 3 and No. 5 in effort to get to No. 1

I'm happy with the Cardinals (my 2nd favorite team after da Bears) pick at #8, with Simmons. He looks to be a solid defender, and the Cards definitely need help on defense. Hopefully he'll play well for the team.
