I live in the NYC metro & my grandparents whom I visited many times in the Sarasota metro.

The amount of tourists & immigrants in NYC speaking Chinese & Italian are probably 10X higher than even Orlando, Florida.

The amount of crowds are probably also at least 10X more huddled in NYC than Orlando.

Florida has a population of over 21 million. NYC has just over 8 million with the entire state of NY having less than 20 million.

Have you ever been to Florida?

Move on, boy, you're over your head.

Lmfao. NYC has many times higher population density than Florida's cities.

Well, during this period of the Kung Flu, neither NY nor Italy are looking all that great. I still blame the commies, though.

Republicans & Democrats both failed to protect us.

Its tragic, and pathetic to make it so political.

    Stop making it political.

Doesn't change you've moved the goalposts more than once.

Regardless of what you think, the BLUE states account for more than 70% of the cases and deaths.

What's interesting about this whole thing is how quickly snowflakes such as yourself were willing to bend over and grab your ankles when the government told you something.

Unfortunately the South ("red states") is also in deep trouble.

"Now a team from the University of Chicago has mapped confirmed COVID-19 infections per county—and has adjusted for population sizes. The researchers’ findings reveal significant clusters in parts of Georgia, Arkansas and Mississippi, among other areas. Even though the involved populations may be smaller than those of New York or Seattle, they could be disproportionally hit by the disease.

“When you flip from just state-level data to county-level data, you get a lot more information,” says Marynia Kolak, assistant director of health informatics at the University of Chicago’s Center for Spatial Data Science, who co-led the team that created the maps. “For example, there are a lot of areas in the South where the population is a lot smaller, but the proportion of people who have [COVID-19] is a lot greater. So that can cause potential challenges, because even though there are less people who have the virus, there are also correspondingly fewer hospital beds, [intensive care units] or ventilators.”"

This virus does't discriminate on a political, racial, religious, nationality, or gender basis.
