Trump deported less illegals than Obama.

New Orleans is the port epicenter for Mississippi river commerce. That's very significant. The big problem is Mardi Gras happened before the limiting of group events. After they canceled March Madness it started to domino with limiting events. That's when everyone started worrying about it.

Lol, the ones who still support such mingling are mostly Repubs.

Wrong Bubba. The CDC issued the limiting groups to less than 50 people on 13 March Mardi Gras was the 28th of March plenty of time to cancel. Think how many people were infected that one day.

Has Texas mandated aggressive social distancing requirements?

No, it's VERY valid. Now more than ever before.

Houston did so earlier this month, Abbott finally issued the order state wide, I believe it was, yesterday.

Our mayors have been acting before Abbott did.

Jade is right. Mardi Gras was early this year - February 25.
My friend Mary went to NO to celebrate.

Late February is when our president told us there were very few COVID cases here and they would "soon be down to zero"

Those fuckers couldn't possibly amplify their evil to get newb bigots and deplorables to the polls and believe they weren't going to lose a shitload of
upstanding intellectually minded conservatives who value dignity, statesmanship and self respect.

Being total assholes cuts both ways, don't it mate? You went with the jerk potus, well, you got him and lost millions of voters.

The "patchwork" method of implementing aggressive measures is not going to be effective. Trump needs to be a leader and mandate a national approach
