Really? ... you think capitalism is starving people to death in those countries?

I'd like to see your data. Can you post it here with a link? i'd like to see the data you are using that convinced you that is true.

    Wikipedia has a good article.
60 million died in India by just famine.

Scholars tend to blame British policies.
Most believe there was enough food.
But, that inequality, lack of infrastructure, rents & British companies grabbing resources are to blame.

So you can't do it, eh kid? Good luck writing a college term paper with that logic.

It is nearly impossible for him to win the nomination now. He would have to not only win the remaining primaries, he would have to take 2/3 of the remaining delegates.

So really, the only reason for him to continue is to keep sharing his message. That's just pointless. Everybody has heard it and made up their mind. The sooner the entire Democratic Party is united behind a single candidate the stronger that campaign will be.

That's why Bernie should take a huge bow, get a thundering extended applause, and make a graceful exit with a full endorsement. If he wants to claim he is a Democrat it is time for him to start acting like one. There comes a time when the party has to be united.

What I think you mean is he served the DNC's purpose & they want to move on...

If Bernie already served his purpose he would not be in the race....

Well, it gives them time to think about their current leadership...

And to talk with others about it...

Hey, nobody know how far he would get until he tried. He had to do that. Now we know. He was driven by his own purpose.

That actually makes sense. The economy was doing well. People felt secure to buy nice things. Much of it on credit.

There is always a segment of the workforce that is cash-poor, but they have nice houses, nice cars on credit. As long as they make all the payments everything is fine. This is free America. They are free to live any way they like. Typically, people who are cash-broke carry a balance on their credit card, make car payments, rent payments, other payments, who knows? Student loan, furniture, toys. Alimony. The reasons are as varied as personalities. As long as they make all the payments, their credit is good.

Wisdom says always save and keep a rainy day fund of enough cash to last 6 months with no income. Excellent goal, but few can do it. Tougher for young adults, especially with a family. Everybody knows middle America builds wealth by owning property. Some take on too much house for their budget, or they stretch it too thin. It's tough to be 'house-broke,' everything goes into the house with little discretionary.

Some are hit by unexpected circumstances. A sudden divorce, illness, child in trouble, big repair bill, helping a friend or relative, all can wipe out extra cash.

Take an income away and half of America will be seeking out food lines pretty quickly. And yes, I have no doubt you would see some nice cars in line. There could be restaurant managers, small business owners, retail managers, a concession owner from a stadium, airline pilots...
