Everything Capitalists told us would happen under Communism has happened under Capitalism. At least the irony is kinda funny.

I don't have that much. But I do have plenty of small game ammunition, and miles of wilderness to hunt.

Isn't it odd that "poor" people have cars to line up in?

If we had planned ahead for shutting things down in an orderly manner before we had to actually shut down, we could have worked out a better plan than to come in after the fact with: "OK, now we're doing this. Deal with it."

Obviously, one of the issues to have planned for would be how those on thin budgets without paychecks would be getting food.

It would have been far better to arrange in advance for the government to pay businesses to keep workers (even if they stay home and do nothing for their paychecks,) instead of letting them lose jobs and go onto the unemployment system. This way, the jobs number would be much better, and workers would retain health insurance at a time when our health system is being put to the test.

That would have prevented the stock market from having such a huge crash.

But instead, under the leadership of our non-leader, we pretended everything was fine and it was all a big hoax, right up until the point where, all of a sudden, it was the big surprise emergency. What a crying shame our excuse for a leader is.

The president could make some points by standing off to the side of summa these food lines and throwing out rolls of toilet paper.

"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

Lots of food banks here. Many businesses have donated tons of food and churches are handing them out. And it's not the poor who are taking advantage of it, I've seen more than a few expensive new SUV's in the lines.

But yeah, I'm prepared, I don't need to go anywhere and my neighbors are plenty far enough away. I'm good.
Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it.
