Trumpf predicted the pandemic would be over by April

Trump has treated it as a political problem from the beginning. His slow start was because the best scenario was for it to not hit the US hard. Instead of spending time and money on protections, he watched. Every step, he was slow and not telling the truth. It was all about 2020. As it gets worse he spends time with spin doctors. How can we make ourselves look better and deflect blame? Now he is settling on mayors. He knows the rightys will buy whatever he cooks up, but he wants to fool a bigger voting base. They decided that since rallies were unseemly, a daily presser was a way to get votes. Every day he gives a meandering speech full of lies and innuendos.
Hospitals are still metering out tests. Trump says they are buried in test kits. On the ground, it is not true.
