As school starts how many have children or grandchildren they worry about? Our grandchildren are in two states so each is different and even the schools are doing different things. One school here where my wife still subs will have some in the classroom and others home on the computer at the same time. Kinda interesting how the WWW has changed how we interact.

One of the oddest aspects of the Trump administration is it is kinda like a cult or a sect. Trump followers no longer see the world through their own eyes, they now see it through whatever Trump tells them. Charismatic people mesmerize and hypnotize the more easily led. Symbols like hats and flags come to stand for the group and not the person any longer. In history there are many and I'm sure you can think of some.

This oped is easy to understand, women are the primary care takers in most societies and nations. Given the confusion over vaccines, immunity, plasma, etc, it may be years before this heathcare crisis is fully tackled and understood. Meanwhile the climate warms and hurricanes etc create more trouble. And so it goes....

Vietnam has a similar low rate of Coronavirus cases/deaths. Wonder what they do, if anything. After traveling there a couple of years ago they seem very lax on healthcare for the population.
