For the state of New York,

Yesterday there were 6646 new cases.

Today there are 8658 new cases.

That would suggest the rate of climb is actually increasing, not decreasing.

    Darth, where is your information?

It's not in the OP, what the thread title claims.
LMAO. Hannity made up a new term? 'A decrease in the increase'.

That might be the funniest back pedal I've seen from Darth to date.

Trump wasn't running in 2018, and the DEMOCRATS barely got a House Majority and failed to take the Senate.

    But thanks for playing.

    Too funny.

And too bad it's just not true.

The number of new cases today is 7918.

Daily new cases continues to rise, not fall.

    Let us review:

New cases for the state of New York:

    3/30/20 6646
    3/31/20 8658
    4/1/20 7918 Worldometer

There must be something wrong. Cuomo said the rate of increase was falling, indicating the hoped-for peak is coming soon.

But the numbers here don't show that.

Every day there are MORE new cases, not fewer.

These numbers are for the entire State. But that state has not posted the breakdown by region. (That I have been able to find. If you can find better numbers, please post them.) They have said that most of the cases for the State of New York ARE in NYC.

I've been saying it all along, as I'm only about 100 miles from NYC. The vast majority of cases are from one specific community. The virus has spread north, where another enclave has about a 60%-70% infection rate.

Couple that with the airports, where the virus first spread like wildfire due to an incompetent administration. I laugh every time I think about the 'decrease in increase' comment.

That's the stupidest thing I've heard since 'known unknowns'.

It's one of the most amusing statements since 'alternative facts.' That one sent me reeling.

I suppose pretending DT has done a good job on this is one of those 'alternative facts,' which means, basically, it's BS.

Deaths are doubling every three days.

Hey math majors, that's an example of exponential growth. You know, like the exponential decay of your IRA.

    Thanks Trump.

I put everything in cash Mon. March 2. The Dow was at about 27,000 if I remember correctly
My Schwab guy can hardly believe it. I'd be down another $400,000 at this point if I hadn't. (You can calculate what's in my IRA from that figure.)
You hate me for that don't you?

Like you my assets are in cash and gold I moved them when the dow was 2800 + I moved them when I saw China building hospitals in 10 days to handle the Covid patients. I figured correctly it was coming just like flu epidemics travel. My brother is down around 400K because he poo pooed me when I got out of the market. I believe it will take 3 years to get back to where we were. When we get through this it will be time to buy again.

YES! 'alternative facts' was probably the best in decades, and for decades to come

Tough decision because I'm sure you were down quite a bit at that point.

the reality is, most of the people that hated Trump from 2016 to 2020 feel that the US response to the disease is lame.......most, but not all.......and those who didn't hate him before don't hate him now........
