Judge says the abortion closings would cause "serious harm" !!!! WTH kind of legal argument is that??. Judges are not allowed to just repeal laws they don't like but federal judges do stuff like this all the time.

march 30 2020 AUSTIN, Texas (CBSDFW.COM/CBS NEWS) – A federal judge halted Texas’s temporary ban on abortion on Monday afternoon, allowing the procedure to resume despite the state’s suspension of “non-essential” procedures, which explicitly included pregnancy termination.
Judge Lee Yeakel wrote in the nine-page court filing that Texas’s directive to ban the procedure would cause patients to “suffer serious and irreparable harm.”
Last Monday, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton ordered all abortion services immediately halted, with the limited exception of those that are “necessary to preserve the life or health” of the patient. Those in violation faced “penalties of up to $1,000 or 180 days of jail time.”
Texas anti-abortion activists hailed the move by Texas leaders amid the COVID-19 crisis.
“The abortion industry has been consuming and hoarding medical supplies that are in desperate need around the state including masks, gloves, and other protective gear for medical professionals,” Texas Right to Life said in a statement last week.

Some women will be having babies that put their lives at risk. Obviously, not dying is pretty essential.
Other pregnant women might only be 1 month pregnant but dont want it to develop further. It's pretty essential to prevent being stuck with a baby for the rest of your life

They just want to force the women on the edge of the threshold of when it's legal to cross the threshold and thus become ineligible for abortion.
Also there are moral consequences for this, most abortions take place in the first trimester but if your shut down all abortions for 3 months or whatever suddenly an 8 week abortion before any neurons have even developed in the brain becomes a late term abortion of a much more advanced fetus. The woman had no choice in this.
The procedure is highly time sensitive and you can't claim that pausing all of them for months on end has any medical purpose but to feed your hatred of women.

it's legally relevant that a woman can't just sit on a growing fetus/baby. it's a time sensitive issue and therefore essential.

If abortion is legal because of "a woman's right", then why are churches closed in spite explicit constitutional religious rights and the First Amendment?
If an abortuary can't be closed because it's "essential", where does a judge get off dictating the essentialness of someone's religious practice?
