Tom Coburn the BORN AGAIN SENATOR who helped facilitate the AFFAIR and COVERUP of another BORN AGAIN REP Senator? Coburn lived in "the Church" with John Ensign. 4 or 5 of these born agains lived together, prayed together, and several banged their mistresses there. The Capitol Hill townhouse was owned by some rich RW'r who managed to get it declared a CHURCH with all tax breaks a church designation brings. The residents paid PALTRY sums of money for rent considering its C Street address.

Coburn and Ensign were buddies. Ensign went nuts for his staffer who he had an affair with. Unfortunately, the staffer's husband was also an ENSIGN staffer and all shit hit the fan when Ensign refused to stop seeing her and her husband tried to break it up Bribes, letters to Fox, late night chases through airports followed. Coburn helped cover it up and helped to try and FIX IT.

It all came to a head including ANOTHER born again Congressman's, who also lived at the 'church' and banging a mistress, wife filed for divorced and NAMED ALL THE RESIDENTS of the C Street church as accessories in her divorce case.

A deficit hawk, Coburn became known as one of Washington's most fiscally conservative lawmakers and annually published a "Wastebook" of government spending. In 2011, he was part of the "Gang of Six," a bipartisan group of US senators who worked on a proposal to cut US federal debt by $3.7 trillion over 10 years.

Never heard of him but sounds like one of the few good ones. .RIP.

I am very outspoken, I spoke often against Coburn in the past. I do not find it necessary to speak ill of him immediately after his passing.

He did ADMIT it was a mistake to go into Iraq so he gets points for that one. He talked DEFICIT HAWK, I don't know what his record was in application. He seems to have had a 3 track mind.
