The world currently has as many refugees as ever.

Living in squalor and close quarters.

    They cannot practice social distancing.

Their life is hand to mouth.

There is no stay home stay safe for them.

What's supposed to happen in all those refugee camps when this thing hits?

Those places are a ticking time bomb.

I think all the statistical nonsense shows that people find figures unreal. If Trumpf went out and shot 1,000 people in New York tomorrow it would be a tiny percentage of the American population, but even in America it might well cause comment.

Nobody is considering all the data because nobody has all the data. The models should be taken with a grain of salt because their predictions are no better than the data that is fed into them.

COVID has some heavy lifting to do in order to catch up with other recent outbreaks and maybe it will get there or maybe it won’t.

And because we lack data, it’s hardly inconceivable the numbers could start to top out in tens days or so and if that happens there’s going to be a lot of crow-eating.

    I don’t like crow.
When medical decisions are based on political election campaign results, people die. Same goes for money. How many Americans have died because an insurance company deemed a procedure "experimental" or "too costly for the risk"? Same with political capital. At the moment Trump is bouncing between his opposing political desire to raise the economy and keeping the body count down below the annual flu virus death count. Better if he can keep it below "Obama's" 2009-2010 H1N1 body count of 12,469 deaths (which was 0.2% of those infected. Twice the flu rate but only 1/5th the COVID-19 rate).

Correct about data, which is why it's important to collect as much as possible before enacting risky actions. Until data is collected, it's best to proceed with caution.

True, but there's a difference between premeditated homicide and accidental or needless deaths. Each year about 650K Americans die of heart disease and about another 600K die of cancer and no one blinks an eye. About 37K Americans die each year in auto accidents and most Americans don't care. Presumably because, as a nation, we've done our best to make the roads and autos as safe as possible so it's either stop driving or accept the losses for now. In the case of a plague, there are measures that can be taken and our nation is doing it's best to take those actions. If they don't, and we start having a lot of needless deaths, We, the People are going to be unhappy about it.

    Maybe Trump told him that!

Covid-19 is a flu. It is a variant of the SARS virus, also a flu. No, we don't have flu shots for every kind of flu. We can, however, treat Covid-19 using drugs used for malaria. The seem to be very effective.

Big Pharma and CDC are all about pushing drugs and vaccines rather than informing the public to take responsibility for the
health of their immune systems which requires getting enough of the hormones A & D3 plus vitamin C daily and less of sugar.
Young and old can both be deficient in these areas. Yearly check-ups should always display A & D level ranges in blood work.

CDC sells 2 codes for Covid.
First one shows the definite virus.
Second one is...like...well...they have a cough...so it MIGHT be the virus.

Unfortunately they use BOTH under the heading of Covid 19. Sending the world and economy into a panic...bunch of liars!
Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
    pain in abortion.

Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.

Needless to say, .6% of a large population is a large number.

What if 60% of the USA got it before a an effective vaccine is available publicly?

    Let's do that math.

    329M x 60% = 197 million people getting the virus.

    .6% of them die.

    197M x .6% = 1.2 million dead Americans.

This is not a good thing.

That is around 10 times the amount predicted by Fauci.
And, what IF 60% of people took care of their immune systems on a regular basis?
