Predictably, the UK Times writer attributes the decline to the effectiveness of social distancing and etc.

But no one actually knows if that’s true or not because no one knows the true mortality rate of COVID-19. Plenty of people have guessed at it or estimated it based on numbers coming from parts of the world with weak healthcare systems.

But the true rate won’t be known until there is massive serum antibody testing.

Also, Ferguson [and some others] didn’t just miss on his initial estimate *he missed badly*. Not even in the right ballpark, badly. And since the estimate numbers are dropping they will likely drop some more.

Bottom line, the whole world just set itself on course for a global recession based on incomplete and/or outright false information.

The US death rate for resolved cases is currently 38%.

2020 deaths + 3231 recovered = 5251 resolved cases.

2020 / 5251 = .38

.38 x 100% = 38%

That rate has been rising.

Yesterday it was 37%.
