LOL. Not bragging, but it was pretty easy to see during the 2016 campaign. The problem then, of course, was that it was either him or Hillary. Although I didn't vote for either, I'm glad Trump beat Hillary.

Let's be honest here. Joe is nowhere near the sexual predator say, BJ Clinton was. But his behavior of sniffing women's hair in public and rubbing the shoulders of females of all ages is "bad optics" as hrc would put it and he's never felt it was inappropriate . He finally addressed it after being called on the behavior repeatedly , expressing no real remorse , only saying he'd be more sensitive to the behavior in the future.
Is he senile? Don't know. None of us do. But one of the criticisms of Bush Jr. was that he was "dumb". If Biden isn't senile he certainly comes across as dumb having the same type of mental lapses Bush had.
Academically Bush was a 'C' student at Yale. Looks like Joe was 'C-' student at best from the U. of Del. Not too good. I'll take the C student at Yale before a C- student at U. of Del.
So basically he's the dem version of Bush Jr. mentally but with the inappropriate public behavior Jr. didn't have. My subjective opinion. Does this disqualify him as a candidate for pres.? No, but it sure doesn't make him look like a good candidate.
The ideal candidate? The charm, wit and class of a Reagan which only comes along maybe once in a generation or two.
That said, I'll give credit to Obama. Although I strongly disagreed with his politics, he exuded class and still does by doing what the good ex-presidents have done, which is to refrain from not criticizing their successors. I'm sure he's enjoying his retirement.
I must also give credit to Bush Sr. who always exuded class.

LOL. While I'll be the first to agree Trump is a fucking moron, if given a choice between smart, competent crooked politician and a complete dumbass crooked politician, I'd prefer the dumbass. They're easier to catch.

I agree that Biden is far too touchy-feely with people and should have learned his lesson long ago, like after the Anita Hill debacle. He and other men from that era thought their behaviour was perfectly appropriate and to this day some of them still don't get it. He needs to keep his actions strictly professional and hands off.

I don't know much about Biden's school years because contrary to what some people (legion) think, I wasn't paying much attention to him when the field was so crowded with candidates. I was trying to decide between supporting Bernie or supporting Liz Warren. Anyway, I'll take your word for it that he was a C-student although I think your comparison to bush 43 is inaccurate because bush didn't get into Yale on his own but as a legacy. And according to what was bush said about himself, he too had lots of inappropriate public behaviour after his school years with drunkenness and chasing women.

I would never pick reagan as an ideal candidate. His policies were awful, he betrayed the country and he suffered from Alzheimer's during his presidency. He acted his way through the office.

I always though Bush Sr. was a classy guy too, until we found out a couple of years ago that he also groped women.
