    this is ioditic

I am fully employed I/T worker - thanks to work at home policy, I have no gas expenses, and my lunch costs have dropped drastically. I am better off financially right now

My wife owns a hair salon - sure, she had to close and is not making money - but we are fine. She just reinvested in her building the prior tax year - making it look like she took a loss last year. So now we actually qualify for this refund. DUMB!

hell - my 18 year old just got rewarded a full ride to college - all the money I saved for her for college is mine too.

Next, because she is 18, I ended up owing on my tax bill this year - but they delayed it with no penalty. This covid deal keeps working in my favor. I imagine that probably means I am going to die from it so everything evens out in the long run

If the left wingers have anything to say about it, all that money you saved for your child that isn't needed because of the full ride will go to someone else's kid that doesn't think their own is worth their investment.

I'm a little murky on this anyway. All the time, it was invested in a college savings MF - which means the gains were tax free because the money is used for education.

I need to research what the penalty is to not use it for education - although right now all the gains probably vanished - I don't want to look

Won’t get a Check nor would I need it.

80% of my employees have virtual offices anyway, 30% of them are Contract Employees. It would cost me more money to lay-off and rehire talent then to continue productivity as usual. People with small minds and short time thinking do not look ahead.

I’m 60% retired and the the other 40% works 2 t o3 days a week anyway, thanks to the Obama Presidency. Now if we get Dim Wit Don out of office we can keep moving forward rather than the Ups and Downs of Stupidity.

Since you are an employer, that is good to hear you thinking that way. That will save the US from this Trump roller coaster.

I will use the money to invest in the market - seems to me we are going to be in a nice buying pattern - unless Dementia Joe happens to gain power

why do you support giving money to people that are not financial impacted?

People like me are fully working and don't need a hand out.

most retired people are on the same fixed income today they were yesterday. The risky ones still using risky investment vehicles were asking for trouble!

    STANDING OVATION.

    You win the internet today!

I'm the same. I partially retired a few years ago and still do some consulting.
