I think I already got it ... and survived. I'm keeping my distance from people, but still interacting.
It's suppose to peak next month, that's when everyone will start to freak.

Jade. Don't you have 'underlying issues'?
I'd stay in the house for the next month if I was you.

I'm set, so I'm not going anywhere. Got about $500 of food and supplies to last a month or so. Moving to Ohio might not happen for some time now.

My wife and I are fine. We live in rural area so usually stock up for a month at a time with a large chest freezer in the garage, and extra shelves for canned goods.

FWIW, I think most of the hoopla will be over in 2 weeks as far as supplies go. It's a global crisis so every First World nation is working on medical solutions and I'm certain those solutions will be found. Treatments first, vaccines second and cures, maybe. Since there's no cure for the common cold or flu, I think we're in the same boat with SARS/SARS2.

    Hello Jade,

Good luck on having a mature thread.

    I applaud the effort.

Not on lock down, but withdrawn as much as possible from socializing. No more going out and seeing people. Got the freezer full. Ready to binge on movies. One good thing is a newfound emphasis on housekeeping, cleaning and gardening. Time to slow down and do some 'nesting.' And I have been getting busy cleaning up the cars, detailing everything out. Also catching up on some reading. Life's good. We can hole up for a while. No need to see anybody or go anywhere. Just about planting time for the organic gardening. We are totally planning a "Victory Garden." V for victory in the war which has united us all. It's the humans against the bug.

Wish Congress would get the bill worked out. Glad they went to school on the Great Recession. Hopefully will avoid a big give-away to corporate executives.

Our state (Ohio) is on "lockdown", but with so many exceptions I really don't see the point. We have a good amount of supplies.

Like Uncle we always have a lot of supplies/food/other stuff on hand due to living in the woods and in a place with wicked winter weather. The U.P. now has two confirmed cases; one of them resides in our county.

Back down around the Northern Dayton suburbs. Was looking in a few of them to find the perfect house. My usual luck though. We put moving on the back burner and a house comes on the market that's walking distance to family.

Why this is not comparable to seasonal flu:

Seasonal flu does not overwhelm hospitals all over the planet!
