Shameful media still slamming Donald Trump during coronavirus crisis: Goodwin
    By Michael Goodwin March 21, 2020 | 10:42pm

“...One result of coronavirus pandemic is a healthy dose of bipartisanship: Goodwin
The coronavirus epidemic is shaking humanity and turning the world upside down. Quick, somebody alert the media.

The Washington press corps is covering one of the largest, continuing stories in recent history the same way it has covered the Trump administration since Day One.

The formula is simple: Whatever the president does is not just wrong, it’s borderline evil. Details at 11.

In the real world, events are unfolding at a pace and scale impossible to comprehend. But at too many news outlets, the aim is not to inform. It’s to render the harshest possible judgment on the man journalists love to hate.

Already The New York Times has twice called the White House response “calamitous,” including once in a supposedly straight-news article.

This is beyond shameful. When antagonists like Sen. Chuck Schumer finally are working with Trump and when the Democratic governors of New York and California swap praise with the president over their partnerships, the media ought to take a hint that this time is different and there is no place for biased journalism-as-usual.

Instead, after failing to bring down Trump with Russia, Russia, Russia and impeachment, they’re now putting their chips on the narrative that he’s bungling the public health crisis.

To get there, they’ve had to reverse themselves on a key allegation. For three years the same media told us Trump was a fascist and a budding Hitler, but now his refusal to rule with an iron fist is also cause for condemnation...”

The media continues to hold Trump responsible for the slow response to the virus.

Like I said in another thread, the left/media [nearly a redundancy] consistently over plays-their hand on anything Trump touches or says.

It’s in their DNA. Predictably, they are weaponizing a potential existential threat to the country in this instance.

Their problem is people outside The Bubble are going to pick up on it—if they haven’t already.

Peter Alexander, he's a fine reporter for NBC News which just lost an audio technician to coronavirus, he just died. And Peter's question would have been easy for any other politician. It was basically, "Mr. President, please reassure frightened Americans."
interesting exchange, Trump gave the previous answers to a series of Alexander's questions if hostile to the reporter.

Then this reporter OUT OF NOWHERE AND NO ATTRIBUTION cites "frightened Americans"
after Trump had addressed the issues.

It was a "gotcha" and Trump wouldn't walk into the trap -instead excoriating Alexander for hyping the hysteria

A MAJORITY OF AMERICANS now approve of the way President Donald Trump is handling the coronavirus pandemic.

“A poll released Friday by ABC News and Ipsos found that 55% of Americans approve of the way Trump is handling the response to the COVID-19 outbreak in the United States. This is a 12-point increase from a poll taken on March 11-12 that found that 43% of Americans approved of his management.

Last week's poll also found that a majority (54%) of Americans disapproved of the way Trump was handling the crisis, compared to 43% in the poll taken March 18-19.”

    The president handled it beautifully.

CNN has gone far beyond advocacy journalism.

Their First Amendment privileges are bring terribly abused.

Meh, Trump hasn’t been perfect lol.

Of course, perfection isn’t a realistic expectation—much less from a politician. But he’s definitely engaged, makes daily appearances; even when there’s not much new to say. He seems to be intuitively aware that hearing daily from the President provides a bit of assurance. Opposed to him being hunkered down in a bunker and clutching his pearls.

The one thing Trump did that absolutely mattered was acting quickly on shutting down ingress from China. But the media called him ‘racist’ for it, and yeah.

The media/left can’t stop their preclusion to the acknowledgement of the Herculean effort by President Trump and his team.

The call of racism for calling the virus that originated in China, the Chinese virus, was despicable.

The “Spanish flu” was not racist nor is the “Chinese virus” racist.

The Right Stream Media is full blown pro-TDS..they are pure GroupThink, and unable to stifle their hate for straight reportage.

We have posters deliberately twisting the reporting. Trump's job popularity is in fact down to 43%.

Meanwhile the leaders of the left are creepy old perverts with dementia that go around feeling up little girls or closet fags that get found passed out in motel rooms naked on he floor drugged up, drunk, with a dildo still hanging out his ass,.. after having a train ran on them by two gay prostitutes. Yeah.....not a good look. To say the least.
