NAVY PREPARES FOR MASS SEA DISPOSALS OF DEAD DEMOCRATS

The U.S. military will open its labs, distribute key medical equipment and ready its hospital ships in response to the Chinese coronavirus.

Defense Secretary Mark Esper said the U.S. military would provide up to 5 million respirator masks and other items of personal protective equipment to safeguard front-line responders, as well as up to 2,000 specialized ventilators.

He also said the Pentagon would open up labs to test civilians for the Chinese virus and could call up more members of the Reserve.

The U.S. Naval Ship Comfort and its sister ship, the USNS Mercy, are being prepared to be sent to liberal shitholes like New York that voted for Hillary in 2016, officials said. There hasn’t yet been a formal request for use of the ships, Mr. Esper said.

The Comfort currently is at port in Norfolk, Va., and the Mercy is in San Diego, officials said.

A liberal's Facebook post inflated the closures to suggest that city or county officials have banned people from leaving their homes in south Florida.

"At this time the coronavirus has now spread it throughout the West Palm Beach Dade County Broward County area," states the Facebook post, which is written as a long run-on sentence.

"All children and adults must remain in their homes we repeat this is a 24-hour shutdown city service announcement."

The post then contradicts itself and states "you and your family and your children are in danger if you remain in your homes."

"This directive certainly is NOT from Broward County government," county spokeswoman Kimberly Maroe said.

Spokespersons for the city of West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Miami-Dade told PolitiFact that they had issued no such warnings.

Communist China defended its decision to expel journalists working for American news organizations, adding that more expulsions could be coming.

Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said during a daily press briefing that China would take more steps against American media if it did not “correct its mistakes,” Reuters reported.

China announced Tuesday that journalists from the failing New York Times, and the Washington Post would be forced to leave the country.

The decision will affect at least 13 journalists, according to the Foreign Correspondents Club of China.

China had previously expelled Wall Street Journal reporters because of an op-ed headline that the foreign ministry and DEMOCRATS called "racist". The headline was “China is the Real Sick Man of Asia,” referring to the Chinese virus outbreak.

The Trump administration expanded access to telemedicine in Medicare, a move that could relieve crowding at hospitals.

Medicare patients will now have greater ability to seek treatment from their providers through remote means, such as videoconferencing on Skype or Apple Inc.’s FaceTime. The changes announced on Tuesday apply to the 44 million people who are on Medicare.

In the past, such remote treatment was largely restricted to virtual check-ins, on-site care and services in rural areas.

“We want to empower providers so they can serve people where they are,” said Roger Severino, director of the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office for Civil Rights.

In the past, telemedicine has been thought of mostly as a way to help manage chronic conditions and to expand access to care for people who live far away from providers.

“We need to clear out as many regulatory barriers standing in the way of access to telemedicine as possible,” said Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R., Tenn.). The need is compounded for older vulnerable people seeking prescription refills.

A number of states, including California have rules that still raise barriers, experts say.

The Trump administration on March 6 issued information on telehealth for doctors and patients, saying there is an “urgency to expand the use of virtual care” so people with mild coronavirus symptoms remain at home.

Insurers such as Humana and Blue Cross Blue Shield have increased access to telehealth. Cigna Corp. is waiving patients’ out-of-pocket costs for telehealth visits related to China virus testing.
