There is some somewhat ODD things going on with C-19 in the animal kingdom that are concerning IMO. Recent studies are saying that anywhere from 50-70% of the deer population in the upper midwest is turning up C-19 positive.

Totally agree. Science evolves. My problem comes when people speak in absolutes when they shouldnt be. The virus is evolving and so is the science. This tells me that the ONLY thing we know absolutely is that we shouldnt be talking in absolutes.

True. Our problem is that the media reports things as if they are absolutely, positively the final word on whatever it is. Just look at the varying advice about cholesterol in your diet. Eggs are bad. Oh wait, no they're not. Uh oh, they're bad again. Okay, eggs are okay in moderation. Rinse, repeat. No wonder ppl get distrustful of both the media and science itself.

My dad was a scientist. We were often treated to diatribes at the dinner table about some report on TV about this or that being bad, or this or that being good. I recall the one about the artificial sweetener called saccharin. It was reported that it caused cancer in lab rats. He said they were fed the equivalent of 1600 cans of diet soda/day -- no wonder they got cancer. lol

For one thing Kamala Harris saying she would be hesitant to take any vaccine that Trump had anything to do with and was rushed into production . The minute she got into office she changed her tune even though it is the exact same vaccine.

I said and did the exact same thing. Then I read the science. Plus I was lucky that my microbiology prof was one of Pfizer's test subjects -- and HE was good with it. In fall of 2020, when the rest of us were still hunkering down and maintaining social distance, he and his family went on a dream trip of theirs to Yellowstone and other parks out west, as well as visited with family in Idaho.
