The National College Players Association is calling on the NCAA to hold upcoming "March Madness” tournament games without fans as a way to protect athletes from contracting and spreading the coronavirus. The nonprofit advocates for the rights and safety of college athletes. On Saturday, the group said it’s in the best interest of the NCAA to take "precautions” to help prevent a pandemic.

Meh, once the weather warms up the virus will at least slow down and take the hysteria with it.

That is assumed, but not proven, hopefully they will quickly learn more about the virus so that it can be contained till a vaccine is found

But it’s an assumption based on the facts as we know them.

With the exception of China—where they probably had cases in the millions or tens of millions, people aren’t dying by the thousands in places where it’s an epidemic. Unless the case numbers start to pick up here we may never see an epidemic because flu season ends with the warm weather. We’re currently at less than 100 cases out of a population of over 300 million. The vast majority of people that have gotten it here have already recovered from it or are already recovering.

And they shouldn’t. This thing has been overblown. We have posters scouring the earth for death-by-Corona. People die of the flu [actually, secondary infections] by the score, just in this country, *every day* this time of the year.

I was in church this morning and people were doing elbow bumps to keep from touching each other’s hands. It’s getting ridiculous.
