How come we don't have those little temperature gizmos?
I'm telling you folks, we get any appreciable positives down here and there goes DISNEY $ for a season. Spring break's just around the corner. That will affect my areas' bottom line! Daytona N. and St. Augustine north, Space Coast south. Doesn't go into any details as to who or how wide.
I'm wondering why not ORLANDO. They do have a fairly major international airport there and a shitload of international tourists.
(I went to Costco yesterday and paid attention. NO masks, didn't really expect any but wouldn't have been surprised if some folks that had any compromised immune diseases, on chemo/radiation, etc. to have them. Anyway, I did notice the merchandise checkers on the way out were wearing rubber gloves--one guy looked like he was double gloved).
Jacksonville, Miami and Tampa to begin local testing for coronavirus

The federal government on Saturday cleared county health departments in Jacksonville, Miami and Tampa to begin coronavirus testing locally, Florida Department of Health Deputy Secretary Shamarial Roberson told POLITICO.
Roberson said she expected the local testing to shave days off the response time. Previously, Florida was shipping tests to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta.
"We expect to receive results of the tests within 24 to 48 hours," Roberson said Saturday. "Previously, it was three to five days."
Health department staff are testing in these counties using two out of three components of a kit they received from the CDC last week, Roberson said. On Saturday, the CDC gave them permission to use the kits.
Roberson said she didn't know whether anyone has been tested yet in the local facilities. She called attention to how the more convenient process comes amid broadened criteria to qualify for testing....

How come we don't have those little temperature gizmos?
Again, I don't know the parameters. Is it JUST body temp? Not a clue.
Did you year, the first MAJOR batch of kits sent out from the CDC were 'contaminated'? Again, no details. Were these on hand, new ones rushed out? Also don't know where these kits were headed. Extent of contamination.

Apparently PENCE isn't so sure he would take HIS kids to Disneyworld even though he is giving the 'all clear' to the country. FUCKING HYPOCRITE.
Mike Pence refuses to say he’d take his kids to Disney World while coronavirus is spreading across America

At the press conference on Monday, Pulitzer Prize-winning Washington Post reporter Ashley Parker asked Vice President Mike Pence if he would be comfortable bringing his children to Disney World at the present time — and he did not offer a direct answer to the question.
“Would you, yourself, feel comfortable bringing you, your family and your grandchildren on a trip to Disney World?” asked Parker.
“I can say there’s been no recommendations on travel within the United States of America,” said Pence, turning it over to others on the panel. “But let me let the experts speak to recommendations with regard to travel. You want to get that?”
It is unclear whether the reporter was actually referring to Disney World, which is in Florida, or Disneyland, which is in California, as both states currently are reporting cases of coronavirus.
