Born losers can't win.
Take the gerrymandered black majority minority congressional districts. A black representative is in 22 or the 23 districts where that is the situation. When they have such a built in guarantee that they're going to get elected no matter how foolish what they support actually is and would otherwise not be able to get hired to shine shoes in the Capitol without that guarantee, can you really say that's winning?
It's like a male with a mental illness thinking he's a female winning a girl's track meet thinking he actually did something worthwhile.
