How many here don’t get the flu vaccine every year?

How many over the age of 65 don’t have a pneumococcal vaccination

I'm 59, my Dr. suggested it. I got it and I hate needles.
Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it.

I don't get it often but last year my doctor recommended it so I did.

50 pints of blood donated so far. No issues with needles, here!

Flu shots are a requirement for me. The base clinic gets their stash super late every year, so, they recommend that we go to a commercial supplier. I received a strongly worded email in early December demanding that I get my shot on or before the 31st. Dropped by the clinic, which was finally stocked, and got it done on the 26th. Frankly, I would have probably skipped-out a number of times if not for the requirements, because it doesn't really register with me, most of the time.

I don’t have a choice since it’s mandated at work.

I admit it’s probably not something I would do on my own but I’m glad I get them. It’s probably kept me from getting it a time or two.

Oh, I’ll be sniffling soon enough lol.

It’s the ONLY thing I don’t like about Spring.

In the past, when flue shots contained a bit of active virus, I would get the flue within a day or two of the shot.

So, I stopped taking it. Now there is no active virus in the shot so I take it...no sniffles or flu in years.

Of course a healthy immune system helps.
