I ask based on several years of observation of the mindset of left wingers. A lot of them have moved to to where I live. When asked why, the most common answer is that they wanted to get away from the high taxes, high cost of living, etc. where they lived. That I understand. What I don't understand is why they continue to vote for candidates with the same ideological leanings as those that were in control where they used to live.
