I have more guns than I'll ever need. In fact, I have at least one in every room in my house, except the kitchen. Hell, I even have 4 or 5 at the GF's brother-in-law's in case I feel like shooting a few groundhogs in his neighbor's fields. Rest assured, I have informed them they cannot leave my house (or his) without my permission!

It'll be my daily carry gun when I get it in. Pretty anxious to get it. The last time I shot for my CLEET qualification I used a friend’s 17. It was cloverleafing holes while my Smith And Wesson just groups well at initial distances. It’ll make a better pig gun for when I’m hunting small game.

You bet I am!! I'm an NRA life member and was a certified firearms instructor for over 20 years. I didn't fill the manufacturer's pockets much, I think I've only purchased 4 or 5 new. In fact, with the exception of the ones I purchased from the Army, only ONE of them is registered.

I reload everything I shoot except the .22 rimfire. My carry gun is a government 1911, not the most accurate handgun I own, but good enough out to 25 yards.
One of my friends has a .17 Remington Model 547 Custom C Grade and it shoots real good at 200 yd. but costs nearly $2000! I think I'll stick to the 77/22 because
I have a few exceptionally accurate rifles, one of the most accurate is a Winchester pre'64 Model 70 with a 26" SS barrel, trued bolt, Timney adj. trigger and a Leupold 6.5-20x Vari X III.
