A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.

As I said, no one wants to go to some gated village in central Florida, and I told you, I'd meet you anytime at Dooley's, but you might actaully see some of those kids with hoodies you are so scared of, so we know that ain't happening

Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it.

Root causes, I'll give the root cause, guns are accessible to nearly anyone in America, as I said, and which every gun advocate ignores, the only variable we can control in mass shootings is the weapon that makes it all possible

No, it isn't about race. It's about nobody teaching the respect for firearms like they used to. That shit didn't happen back then like it does today. I learned it at home and in school.

Fine, then you should have no problem with treating guns as we do vehicles, one needs to pass a test and obtain a renewable lisense to operate one. That plus a renewalable registration and liability insurance for each weapon

Except there is no easy access.

Then why weren't there a huge amount of mass shootings, back in the 50s and 60s, when it was a hell of a lot easier to acquire any gun??

So you want to deprive the poor of their 2a rights and only have the wealthy own firearms.

So when did you become a liberal elitist??

Right, any kid in Chicago sure doesn't seem to have a problem, plus we know the Internet is always a possibility (https://www.npr.org/sections/alltech...t-a-click-away), and even a individual labeled too dangerous to board an airplane can buy one, so what really is preventing someone who really wants a gun?

Couple of reasons, to begin, there were never even close to the pure number of guns out there, currently the US has more guns in circulation than people, and secondly, gun advocates as the NRA were not owned and controlled by the gun manufactures, the NRA's positions on gun ownership during the sixties would align them with the Brady Center today
