Bernie's plan is a good start. we have spent more on the military than the next 10 nations combined and have done it for decades. Eisenhower warned us about the danger of the military/. Industrial complex and he was right. We have picked guns over butter over and over. One lesson is , if you build it you will use it. We have been all over the globe attacking countries and overthrowing leaders. We have over 800 military bases . We piss away so much money that it is obscene. The first cut should be 50 percent.
