All that money cut from those things was so he could build up the military and try to put up the wall, deeming those things more important than disease preparedness in a disease-prone world. It's a looney tunes way to run a government. And even then, he overspent the budget by ensuring that not enough revenue would be coming in, thanks to the big tax cut for the super-rich. And remember, the economy was already doing great before the tax cut, as his supporters loudly claimed for the year PRIOR to the tax cut. It was nothing but a give-away to the already rich good-government haters.

Medical preparedness is not a good place to cut government spending. It's pretty stupid, really. And it shows, that even when cutting essential functions of government, the tax cut could not pay for itself. The debt now leaps by over a trillion for each year DT is still in office. We have to get rid of him to get our house in order.

The fact that a simple travel ban fixed it EVEN WITH all these *alleged* cuts kind of highlights the fact that Trump was right to make those cuts. Democrats also relentlessly fight for open borders, which exponentially worsens such epidemics.

This is sloppy garbage logic that isn't even attempting to be accurate or honest. Incidentally, when Democrats were falsely blaming George W. Bush for the Democrat policy disaster known as 9/11, why did it not phase their argument at all that he increased counter-terrorism funding 27% during his first few months in office? If funding increases or decreases are all we are supposed to take into account, why does that logic only ever get applied in one direction?
