Don't take my word for it. You can find billions of examples of conservatives telegraphing a grudging admiration for Scandinavian social welfare states - in large measure, because they feel white people (aka, non-brown people) can be trusted with it.
They don't want to give us shit. They think we should still be slaves. If your black ass is going to be here then you will work And if you don't work you go to prison.

Well it's generally true the failings of capitalism help Bernie and the progressive movement. But it's not a take over. It's returning to the New Deal roots. That's FDR - but did you know Teddy was a progressive? Many of the problems of income inequality we see today existed 110+ years ago. Low wages, high rent. An oligarchy of the rich controlling politicians lead by the billionaire and industrial classes. That's why with great technological and economic progress if it doesn't include the poor and working class it's going to have to eventually. The gap can only get so wide.

Without free markets, you wouldn't get all the innovation and industry that created the tech boom and other great economic booms. Bernie is beyond FDR or "Denmark." Did you know in Denmark they still consider themselves a capitalist nation? They also still have private insurance. Bernie wants to take things a step farther and get rid of private HC all together.

There would still be markets, with reasonable regulation like we already have. And I wouldn't brag about great economic booms when it comes with economic busts. It's a cycle called boom and bust - and you know who benefits most from that system? The rich who can buy up the broken pieces after a market crash. Also, entrepreneurship isn't the only source of invention and innovation. Universities and government scientists and engineers produce new things as well. Radar and the internet are easy examples.

Bernie is beyond FDR or "Denmark." Did you know in Denmark they still consider themselves a capitalist nation? They also still have private insurance. Bernie wants to take things a step farther and get rid of private HC all together.
They are a capitalist nation with a strong social welfare system. They have regulated markets and high taxes. Bernie doesn't oppose this system. The part about healthcare is true, and there are reasons for that. I think he owns the moniker "socialist" because Americans can't tell the difference anyways, so he turns a dirty word into a badge of honor. But he really is more akin to a New Deal populist than a "workers should own the means of production" type.

The Russia Tax Cut didn't increase business investment, didn't increase job growth, didn't pay for itself, didn't reduce the deficit, didn't lead to 3% economic growth, didn't raise wages by at least $4,000, didn't increase revenues, and didn't grow the market.

So stop being such a crybaby.

Will you be crying when the market returns to it's record breaking climb?
