Why would Kobe settle? To lefties, that's an automatic admission of guilt/responsibility. That is, when it's someone that is white and conservative doing it.

According to christiefan, Kobe's accuser refused to testify but there was a settlement in a civil case despite Kobe claiming he did nothing wrong. I thought lefties believed that settling in that type of situation meant the person was admitting guilt.
