Ever try shooting a deer, Frank lol?

No, it will feed a poor family.

The owner of the home that my daughter bought was a big time hunter. He had stuffed deer, elk, moose etc... and a huge bear in the basement that scared the living mierda out of us when we saw it.

I knew families that depended on the game and fish that they harvested for half their food supply...or more in some cases.

I believe that Frank may be trolling now.

He posts stuff that no one would believe.

Never been hunting. Come on Frank.
If you want to call yourself a "hunter" for doing what most people who call themselves "hunters" in America...you are welcome to do so. As I mentioned..."hunter" is an honorific I ascribe to Eskimos who HUNT seal and whales at sea in kayaks; pygmies who hunt elephants with spears; native Americans who hunted buffalo with bow and arrow...and people like that. They were hunting for food. I do not apply it to some asshole who hides in ambush with a shotgun against the fearsome White Tail for a trophy.

Your first sentence is a bit cumbersome, Frank.

You continue to be evasive, Frank.

Have you ever hunted wild game?

Once a deer becomes an adult it has no natural predators in most of the country. Black bears might luck into one, occasionally. If nobody hunted them they would starve to death in the winter.

Why do you want deer to die miserable deaths that could take weeks, Frank?
    Transparent horseshit.

Every sentient poster knows these type of"hunters" (the ones who do not hunt for food) are not out there performing a solemn public duty to maintain the ecological balance.

The are out there for primitive and primal reasons. They get a sadistic thrill ambushing an animal, pulling the trigger, putting a slug of lead into its beating heart, and watching the life force ebb from the animal.

    Do you?
How do you hunt deer? Walk around in the woods saying, "here deer. Come to daddy." Or do you try to outrun them?

You hide and hope they come to you.

    That is what you do.

But to do that and call yourself a hunter is like sitting in a hammock at night looking at the stars and calling yourself a astronomer.

So basically virtually nobody hunts anymore.
Do you know how AK Natives now hunt caribou? They chase them with snow machines and shoot them point blank.
You know how they hunt whales now, supposedly for subsistence?

Donald Trump Jr. one of only 3 people who wants to legally kill an Alaskan grizzly bear this year

According to a report from Reuters, Donald Trump Jr. has been awarded an out-of-state permit from Alaska to hunt and kill a grizzly bear this year making him one of only three who applied for one of the 27 permits available.

The report states the son of President Donald Trump has “been granted the right to hunt a grizzly bear in northwestern Alaska near the Bering Sea town of Nome, a state official said on Friday.”

The son of U.S. President Donald Trump was one of three people who applied for 27 spots for non-resident hunters targeting grizzlies in a designated region of northwestern Alaska’s Seward Peninsula, said Eddie Grasser, the wildlife conservation director for the Alaska Department of Fish and Game,” the report continues with Grasser adding, “We get thousands of applications” and that it comes down to “pure chance, luck of the draw.”

Do you have any evidence it wasn't done fairly or are you going to continue using your 'because I said so' defense?
