yes and when a kid is born to a person who cannot take care of it, you will volunteer to raise it. That is pro-life. You are pro-birth.

Thanks! Good to see you, christie. I'm surprised at how many are still here (and quite a few more - the board seems to be rockin').

I thought I was gone for good. Things get too toxic here sometimes. But it really is a good spot to work through some of the issues.

And no, they're not. Bernie is. The rest have some policies that are further left, but otherwise aren't looking for revolution.
You said "I'll vote for almost anyone...", referring to the contenders in the 'rat race. They are all full-on socialists. Bernie's the only one honest enough to admit it.

Admit that the death penalty had no bearing on a drop in violent crime lol.

"New York no longer has the death penalty, which was abolished in 2007 (the state actually has abolished and reinstated capital punishment multiple times in its history).

The state stopped all executions in 1984, 11 years after the U.S. Supreme Court reinstated the practice. It was again reinstated by Governor George Pataki in 1995, using lethal injection as the means of execution. But executions were halted after the New York Court of Appeals found it unconstitutional. The statute was changed in 2007, officially prohibiting the death penalty. Life imprisonment without the possibility of parole became New York's stiffest penalty after capital punishment was abolished."

Zero logic there, especially since there is no shortage of parents looking to adopt.

Pretty sad about the field, actually. I'll vote for almost anyone, but I've been telling any Dem who will listen that if they go Bernie, I'm voting Trump. That should be a scary thought for Dems, because I doubt I'm alone.
What about Bernie is so offensive to you?

I don’t see any difference in policy between him and Klibuchar?

All of them want Medicare for all. So do you.

    What’s your beef Thingy?

Personally I am doing all I can to help Bernie win the nomination. I voted multiple times in New Hampshire.

I will be voting in South Carolina and on Super Tuesday

Oh it's still toxic because of an influx of hard right-wing posters, lol. But sometimes there's nowhere else to go when you need to fire off a good rant about the current administration.

You're a terrible predictor of human behavior if you don't thing severe punishment is a deterrent lol.

I think you meant this for someone else. I'm pro-choice.

It's a hyper-partisan viewpoint to state or imply that "they're all just socialists anyway."

    Too much talk radio.

Amy is a pragmatist. I dig pragmatists. They rarely win, though.

Funny how I never see you complain about the toxicity of liberal posters here: guno, domer, nomad, rune...

And what was the window of time where the death penalty was in effect and acting as a deterrent?

I note you changed from death penalty to severe punishment and they're not the same lol.

Too much MSNBC, CNN, and The View to think otherwise.
