Well, a big burly guy came to my house speaking Russian (I tried to learn Russian once but gave up the first days) but I could not understand him.

Perhaps he was trying to influence me to vote forTrump but I would have anyway,

And Bernie has been very clear to distinguish himself from the old myth by calling his platform one of 'Democratic Socialism.' I totally agree with it. He is on the right track. It all makes sense to me.

But it doesn't make sense to the mushy middle. They are afraid of the S-word. Bernie's opponents are not going to give him the respect of granting him his own version of it. They have to turn it into a straw man they can more easily tear to pieces. They are going to drop the 'Democratic' part and just call him a socialist. 'A self-avowed socialist,' (as if he is insane to admit it.) Fear is a great motivator. In their view, you are asking them to elect Karl Marx.

Bernie's challenge is to motivate enough young people to overcome the hateful fearful older ones. That's a pretty big challenge, too. Nobody has ever gotten elected president by motivating the young to come out in sufficient enough numbers to overwhelm the old. Old people are more motivated to vote. They are wiser. They have had a whole lifetime to learn and observe. They see the bigger picture. They are familiar with lots of things the young have not seen. They are far more reliable voters. Bernie has a big uphill battle ahead of him. And he can pretty much count on not getting any super delegates. He will have to win the primaries by a huge margin, enough so that no other candidate could be put over his count if they have all the super delegates. That's probably the only way Bernie is getting in.
Bernie could change the flavor for the Boomers by saying a Democratic Socialist. He allows others to continue to label him just a socialist, that sounds really scary to old capitalists.

    Not surprising.

Such abysmally low standards of honesty, moral decency, intellect and competence have become the norm amongst the far right.

I'm guessing the next Republican nominee for President will look something like one of these guys....

And you'll all be hooting, high-fiving, and waving your Confederate redneck flags while shooting your guns in the air in celebration.

    There's already socialism in America.

    And it's not going anywhere.

Can you say thank-you to Putin if/when it happens?

Or will you be too spineless and dishonest?

For whomever helps to prevent one of these lightweight Socialists from becoming president, I extend my eternal gratitude.

    Divine Providence is greatly appreciated.

Just love trump's plutocracy , don't you? Trump is seizing power that no other president did before. He is using power like no, man ever did. Like the pardoning power.,no president abused it as he does,. I suppose like Trump, you think he will be there forever. Others think Trump's abuse will linger long into the future. There will be a president as corrupt as Trump in the future, but smart. Trump is a buffoon, but he is setting a standard that all should fear. Trump shows America is a lot more fragile than we thought. One orange idiot can take it over.
Trump is steamrolling the separation of power. he now controls all 3 branches. Rightys like that. you can surmise that they really do not care about America's constitutional republic. They want Trump too destroy it. What is left when trump is done? It will not benefit you. Trump governs for the billionaires.

What you have is what’s called a ‘supposition’. You *suppose* since the Russians meddled in favor of Trump [supposing the evidence for that is irrefutable—note how the suppositions are compounding] then—it follows—that if it weren’t the Russians, Hillary would be president.

I’ll take that claim with a hefty grain of salt.
Well, it's a beginning. Even if you don't believe it's true. At least you understand what other people believe. It's good to hear somebody say so. Thanks.
