Their strategy is so simple it cannot be hidden.

Get Bernie nominated, help him all the way to that point.

Then turn on him in the general election and sink him by hanging the S-word around his neck like an anchor.

Nobody in the mushy middle who thinks we have to choose between capitalism and socialism, thinks that socialism is like a disease that once it gets started will destroy the country, (like the fictional capitalist horror thriller Atlas Shrugged, where socialism destroys everything,) and fears the S-Word like the corona virus, None of those people are going to vote for Bernie.

Bernie does have a few things going for him. He has drastically improved his standing with black people. And he has a near-religious following among the young. The young vote has often been courted, and is potentially overwhelming in numbers, but no candidate has ever been able to mobilize the young enough to get them to turn out in great enough numbers to make that the winning difference. Can Bernie do it?

He's got a lot against him in the general. 1. The Russian interference will be all pro-DT by then. 2. He has failed to properly court and address the religious vote. That has been a huge mistake. 3. The lingering fear of the S-Word.

Perhaps this year the Super Delegates may turn out to be a good thing. If we think trading one powerful billionaire for another is an acceptable compromise... Who knows at this point?

I think he would without hesitation.

It is a serious mistake to equate Democratic Socialism with straight up socialism, and an even more egregious one to equate socialism with communism. Any view which gets either of these wrong is wrong. And if it gets both of them wrong it is doubly wrong.

Post a quote with with credible link showing Bernie gushing in admiration for the Soviet communist party and the totalitarian political system it implemented.

I know many people who traveled to the USSR, the Russian Republic, to Cuba, to China.

You might be amazed to learn this, but many people can admire the rich and fascinating cultures of Russia and China without being supporters of Joseph Stalin. It is possible to admire and appreciate people and cultures in Cuba, Russia, China without feeling you are a disciple of. Mao, Lenin, or Castro

The Russians can’t affect an outcome in a national election.

Every four years, a major party with all of its resources, advertising, strategists and etc, fails at it. What they *can do*—and they are good at it, is to sew division. The Russians can’t ‘get Bernie elected’ and more than they ‘got Trump elected’.

The whole notion could hardly be more absurd.

Who was most responsible for—taking the Russian bait—and using it to sew division over the past four years?
Coup has started. First of many steps. Impeachment will follow ultimately~WB attorney Mark Zaid, January 2017

They try to influence EVERY election in EVERY country, and have for years. This is not news. It's just Democrats trying to lighten the blow for the defeat they know is coming.

Bernie did a very ignorant thing on Twitter, he’s biting the very hands he needs to win an election, those he calls establishment Democrats. I always wonder why he runs as a Democrat if he hates the party, absolutely makes no sense to me.

I would have laughed myself hoarse.

Now I'm not laughing. I am crying for the Constitution, the debt, how divided the nation is, the entire planet, and the future of our children and grandchildren as we foolishly ignore science and climate change.

Maybe the can we are kicking down the road is really a hand grenade that is going to blow us all up.

As Al Gore put it in 'An Inconvenient Truth,' you have a bunch of money on one hand. Money is good. Who doesn't like money? And on the other hand, you have the planet. You choose.

Well, hmmm. That's a toughie, eh? Money is so great. Everybody likes money. But what good is money, really, if you don't have a planet to spend it on?

That's the real choice in 2020.
