Default Our form of Capitalism is broken.

I keep being shocked by how many people in America, the land of opportunity, are both idiots and wealthy while so many intelligent people are middle class or struggling financially. Our system does not reward hard work and intelligence as much as it rewards you for who your parents were.

I believe in a healthy mix of the best ideas from Capitalism and Socialism. In other words a well regulated Capitalist system, with some segments, like Health Care, Electricity, Prison, Education more strongly socialist than other segments.

Pure Capitalism is as bad as pure Socialism, neither works.

It's not broken because you and so many like you have failed. You can't blame the system when you're the reason you can't make it.

    Another horse mierda thread .

Perhaps the OP can’t read the booming economic figures that have benefited the middle class the most.

middle class always "struggle". that's what makes them middle class

There are always rich and poor -but our economy allows payments to the poor, and higher taxes for the rich.

Capitalism is the driving force that creates wealth

I have not failed, I am doing very well despite the problems, but my parents had money. They spent it getting me a good education and giving me a good start in life. Much like Bloomberg. I never got a small "loan" of a million dollars that never had to be paid back... But I did get a $50,000 loan that I did pay back, with interest.

The OP may be broken but Capitalism, the goose that has laid the golden egg for more than two centuries, is not. It’s booming.

So you're getting more in handouts than your parents? Good for you.

Do you have any proof that you got and paid back a loan? I think you're confusing the social welfare with that.

Handouts no, none. My parents lent me the money and I paid them back.

Since you rely on social welfare for so many things, it seems you've failed. Must mean all that corruption you claim exist actually is only in your mind.

    they both eat each other

well fettered Capitalism is the best answer for mankind

Placing parameters on a wild horse and training it to help you plow the fields and ride to town.

its beautiful and can be trained

but will do no human any good just running wild in the vast wilderness

Its not a system for idiots and the gullible

It takes wisdom, foresight and a good moral sense to run in a way that helps all

which is why we hear that founders quote "a republic if you can keep it"

Fools would NOT be able to KEEP it alive and they knew it
