That's because abortion for any reason is illegal in the South. A '96 study showed that 5% of rapes result in pregnancy. Couple that with laws that make it harder for women to get birth control, and the numbers could be higher.

I am for a woman's right to choose. No woman wants to have an abortion, despite what Rush Limbaugh tells you. What I think doesn't matter here. You are against abortion. My question asked if you feel a rape victim should be forced to bear a rape baby, and if you think sterilization of rapists would help?
