So by your own logic, we've already been communist for quite some time. And I can't think of a single country that doesn't have some nationalized companies, so that would mean most of the world is communist.

Nope never said that. But nice try. Some companies are temporarily nationalized to prevent a monetary crisis. GM was temporarily owned by the US but the government sold off the last of it's shares. Under communism all production is own and controlled by the government.

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders is rising in the polls among Democrats, but questions about his electability against President Trump persist because he self-identifies as a democratic socialist.

A new NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll backs up the idea that the label could hurt him.

Asked about their impression of socialism, only about a quarter of Americans (28%) said they have a favorable view, while almost 6-in-10 (58%) said they had an unfavorable impression.
