“Ralph Waldo Emerson seemed to foresee the lesson of the Senate Impeachment Trial of President Trump. ‘When you strike at the King, Emerson famously said, “you must kill him.’ Mr. Trump’s foes struck at him but did not take him down. A triumphant Mr.Trump emerges from the....." - Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump Feb 15, 2020
Well, we already knew Trump feels he has "the right to do whatever I want as President," so I guess comparing himself to a King is just natural, kinda funny, remember when the right and their media went bananas when Obama appointed "czars" and they said that proved Obama thought he was a King
And tomorrow Trump tell America he just loves the Constitution

Waldo is right: don’t take a swing at the king unless you can take him out.
But Democrats knew failure was eminent even as they voted on the articles. But we know taking Trump out was never the point, right? The point was to impeach him in order to satisfy the rabid democrat base. So Democrats swung—and missed.
And we’re surprised the king comes out stronger for it. Don’t know why I said ‘we’, because I’m not the least bit surprised.
If the constitution is being threatened—it’s not by the king. It’s being abused by his enemies as they try take the king out or down—they’ll settle for either at this point. The king revealed a veritable police state operating in the upper echelons of the FBI.
Just last week an individual who was partly responsible for handing out prison terms to people who lied to investigators—walked away from a charge of—wait for it—lying to investigators.
That’s the way police states work: the police are exempt from the rules they enforce on us ‘underlings’.
The country will be better off if the king gets coronated, again. It seems there’s work yet to be done.
Coup has started. First of many steps. Impeachment will follow ultimately~WB attorney Mark Zaid, January 2017

You've never used a metaphor? You realize all this hyperventilating isn't good for you, right?

Then why did you make sure to let us know that you are yugely triggered by using yuge bold font?
Relax. Don't get your feelings hurt when we mock Trump. I laugh at memes about Obama and Hillary too.
If you think it's a "metaphor", fine. Just don't get upset when we don't think it's a metaphor BASED on Trump's history.

He misquoted Emerson
Point was to expose Trump, the Senate was never a consideration, they exposed themselves, he could shoot someone on 5th Ave and they wouldn't find him guilty, the American public was the jury, and I wouldn't say they lost, Mitch did his job, few outside the Fox bubble don't look at the vindication as they do OJ's
And last I knew, the Founding Fathers authored the Constitution specifically because they didn't want a King
