    That's a promise broken.

    What a let down.

I don't like being lied to.

They call it the deep state.

You would think the President would be able to do something about that.

    I guess he's just inept.

Look at all the people he's just getting rid of now. What took him so long? I guess he doesn't know what he's doing.

    What a disappointment.

Maybe he doesn't want to drain the swamp after all.

you don't get to define who the swamp is. it's for us to decide, not you. trump has 95% republican support. He's doing fine and we are very happy with his swamp draining

It's a big swamp. I doubt that Trump can do it in 8 years. He may have to hand the job off to Jr. or Ivanka. Or better yet, 8 years each for both. Then follow-up with another 8 for Barron. Will he be old enough by then lol? 32 years of Trump. That should drain it lol.

Perry was unqualified and stupid. That is a swamp creature.
Obama sought intelligent and qualified people. Trump is digging a swamp like never seen before. Are rightys completely unable to evaluate? There are facts to be dug up if you want to take the effort.
Perry killed his own presidential campaign when he famously said in a debate that he wanted to eliminate 3 departments from the federal government. Then he began to explain but stopped after naming two. He couldn't even remember the name of the third department he wanted to eliminate. It was the Department of Energy. Nothing important. It's not like energy matters to everyone or anything like that. Later, in the ultimate irony, he was appointed to head none other than the department he wanted to kill but couldn't remember.

Only in Republican-land. Democrats don't have to make this stuff up. The stories just write themselves.

Then there should be no more deep state, right?

According to Republicans I talk to, they think the swamp means Democrats in government who 'run everything,' the 'deep state.'

Now, after three years, Trump is still rooting them out. After all this time. He has failed to clean it up.

Is he going to recycle the old: 'Drain The Swamp' soundbyte for this campaign?

After all, it worked so well in 2016. Why not?

Well, it could be that since he is now in charge of it all that HE OWNS THE SWAMP.

If it ain't gone, it's HIS FAULT.

But Republicans can't fault him for anything.

If they do, they get tweet-shamed.

It's an abusive relationship, and the victims are the enablers.

He could never do this if they didn't let him.

    Pathetic.

Republicans should be ashamed of themselves.

Oh, the only reason there is 95% Republican support is because he ran off everybody else who didn't become an enabler for his tweet abuse.

No, Snowflake, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Check your 401K and other investments, check the unemployment rate, the rising wages, low inflation and relative peace and booming prosperity.

You want to exchange this for a Socialist.

    Self-deport yourself, Snowflake.

Many have already been investigated, charged, tried and convicted. Problem is: they were all people that the naked emperor brought in.

After all, he is pretty bad at picking people to run government.

This is the highest turnover rate of any presidency ever.

    That should tell you something.

But the problem is: the abuser's enablers can't see it (on purpose.)

    Blinded by the comb-over?

The only thing that tells me anything are results and I like them so far.

But again, there are some characters under criminal investigation for offenses that—unlike some other investigations, actually pertain to the investigation.

Like how and why false FISA applications were presented to the court to spy on innocent US citizens. That kind of thing.

I am certain that in your view that is totally swamp-draining.

But, of course, there is still so much swamp. What gives?

And those false FISA applications were presented when?

And it has taken how long to drain the swamp of this?

Comey signed off on all of this.

    Comey was an Obama hold-over.

Why wasn't he replaced immediately after 'the biggest inauguration ever?*'

POTUS fumbled. And he let the other team score. What a disappointment.

I don’t think Trump knew what he was getting into. I’m sure if he had a do-over he would fired Comey for mishandling the Clinton investigation. In fact, Democrats were pissed at Comey at the time—so they wouldn’t have said anything.

But Comey was responsible for Mullet: Comey leaked [in his own words] in order to get a prosecutor appointed to investigate Trump and Russia. Presently, Durham is investigating to see if there was an adequate predicate for the investigation at the time.

There didn’t seem to be one at the end of the investigation since no criminal conspiracy existed between the Trump campaign and Russia. That was the conclusion of the investigation.

So, if this comes down ‘the wrong way’ for the Deep State [cast of characters—whatever you want to call them] not only will it be ‘Swamp Draining’ it will be historic. This is why they are making noise over Barr.

They are desperate to get rid of him.
