Why can’t the DOJ make up its mind?
Lying to investigators is either a crime or it isn’t.
McCabe ‘lacked candor’ on four different occasions, while under oath, and was fired for it. In contrast, any and every person even tangentially associated with Trump gets the hammer for lying to investigators—even when not under oath.
Perhaps the absurd euphemism ‘lacked candor’ was a clue that McCabe was never in serious legal jeopardy for *lying* under oath.
Maybe someone can explains how that works.
Or not.
