You label pretty much everything you don't like as Socialism and then you call it communism. It's hilarious how uninformed many Americans are to other countries. Here's the biggest difference between the two. In communism, you often can't just go about or leave as you'd like. Rules can be kind of stifling like you live in a birdcage. It's kind of like being owned by the country. With what is considered Socialism, you can leave the country and even carry duel citizenship. Rules are as free as here if not more. The biggest difference between socialism and capitalism is people come first with Socialism. You don't get to cast someone aside because they had a bum rap or couldn't make it on their own. People aren't left out to dry because they got sick and couldn't fend for themselves.

It's you that doesn't understand. What you call Socialism is actually Social Democracy, that you can't comprehend the difference speak volumes about you. True Socialism has no private property or companies, everything is run by the State. One of the first acts by Tony Blair as New Labour PM was to abolish Clause IV which reads:
