Default Some Democrats fear fallout from Sanders atop the ticket

INDEED. THE GOP IS LICKING ITS CHOPS AT THE PROSPECT OF RUNNING AGAINST SANDERS....ESPECIALLY WITH THE CURRENT HAPPINESS OF AMERICAN VOTERS...

Some Democrats fear fallout from Sanders atop the ticket

    DENVER (AP)
    — The resurgence of Sen. Bernie Sanders in the presidential nominating process is triggering alarm in the Democratic Party, with many warning that a ticket headed by the self-declared socialist could be devastating to the party's chances of winning the Senate and holding the House in November.

In anxious huddles, apprehensive Democrats are sharing their worries that Sanders' socialist label and unyielding embrace of controversial proposals like “"Medicare for Al”" and the Green New Deal will repel voters in the affluent, moderate districts that flipped control of the House in 2018 and in closely divided states where Republican senators are vulnerable.

The Vermont independent narrowly won New Hampshire Tuesday on the heels of a strong showing in Iowa and is widely seen as a front-runner, along with former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg.

“I'm a proud capitalist,” said freshman Rep. Ben McAdams, D-Utah, in pointed contrast with Sanders. McAdams, who is supporting former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and whose Salt Lake City district will be among the toughest for Democrats to defend, said having a liberal like Sanders atop his party's ticket “would probably give me more opportunities to show my independence” from the party.

~ Rep. Dina Titus, D-Nev., who backs the candidacy of former Vice President Joe Biden, warned a group of Democratic voters this week in Carson City, Nevada, that with Sanders atop the ticket, “you're not going to take back the Senate. There's not any way, because everybody's going to be tarred with the same brush. We will probably lose seats in the House.”

I have yet to see one democrat tell me what policy differences they have with Sanders

Except for the corrupt Republican politicians getting their palms lined, there's no such thing as a non-billionaire who benefits from Republican policy, and even billionaires benefit only in the short term. In the long term, Republican policy hurts them as well.

We know why uneducated working class people vote Republican in direct opposition to their own economic best interests.
Knowing that they need votes from these ignorant lowlifes, the Republicans pander to their racism, their xenophobia, their religious bigotry, their misogyny, and their anti-intellectualism.

There isn't a single right wing nutjob on this forum who could manage a decent SAT score if his/her life depended on it. Just read their posts. It's almost impossible to find a single grammatically correct simple declarative sentence from any one of them. They're functionally illiterate. What else could they be? What person with any intellect at all would sodomize him/herself in the polling booth the way these pathetic morons do every election cycle?

The sobering part is that there are so many of them. How does one nation get burdened with so many vile, despicable troglodytes willing to screw themselves economically in order to get a pat on the head for their racism and other depraved qualities?

The kind thing would be to feel sorry for them, but they've caused so much damage to our republic that my instinct is to loathe them instead...and loathe them I do.

So let's not wallow in any more bullshit about bringing people together. We will never be together. Their very existence makes us sick.
We need not try to change minds where no minds exist but rather to beat them. Get to the polls and beat them down. And then we must keep them down so that they never rise again.

I'm not opposed to a Stalinesque purge although it would have to be far bigger than anything Stalin ever did. Just the same, I'm open to any other idea they will get these despicable monsters out of polite society once and for all. Maybe we can simply sterilize them so that they won't procreate more monsters. Maybe we can relocate them to Antarctica. The only thing I know for sure is that we have to do something...and do it now.

A Modest Proposal For Separating Blue States From Red

    Dear Red-State Trump Voter,
Let’s face it, guys: We’re done.

It is a tragedy that so much of the work that so many men and women toiled at for so long to make this a better country, and a better world, has been thrown away, leaving us all in such needless peril.

This is why our separation in all but name is necessary.
