Even if you think he deserves a second chance after being released from prison, why should that second chance include judging who gets out on bail? It is the fox guarding the chicken coup. You do not know that he is getting a kickback. You then pay the bail bondsman the most he thinks you can pay. Then Chapman investigates you, and finds out you can pay more. If you do not pay him, he violates your bail, and you will have to wait in jail for months. So you keep paying him until you can pay no more. Months later, you are found not guilty, but you never get your money back.
