labor participation rate going back up. we added 225k jobs in January, but 500k entered the work force!
That means employment is available and more attractive then staying on the sidelines

we are adding good jobs -manufacturing is back up again as well.

I hate this "Obama did this and Trump did that" -they both get full credit for their roles.
Obama got us out of the recession by the stimulus when many were saying go the austerity route Europe used. He gets credit for that.

Trump de-regulated the mindless bureaucrats, and as a result added 500k manufacturing jobs while Obama lost 200k and claimd they were "never coming back without a magic wand"

Both POTUS get credit for their roles

What do you have in mind? The pharmaceutical industry? Generally speaking no I don’t support legislation that empowers big firms who can afford the massive accounting and legal staff to deal with it and hurts medium to small business. We need a more dynamic economy, not less. And in many places we over regulate which takes away from that dynamism

Not only them but tech also, IMHO they are just as bad, if not worse-stiffing innovation..

Ignoring those rules/laws is what makes China the #1.5 economy on the planet...
"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

The question was, “When was black unemployment LOWER THAN IT IS NOW???”

    You dodged the question, Walter.

    Stop obfuscating.

It has been creeping higher since August, so the answer is that it was lower than it is now in August, September, October, and December. That is what creeping higher means. Often black unemployment is a leading indicator for general unemployment, and now we see general unemployment also creeping higher.

I am not particularly worried about it. Unemployment has been so low since 2014, it was bound to start rising at some point. In fact, excessively low unemployment can cause economic damage.

What does worry me is trump has spent a huge amount of money on stimulus, and all we are getting is 2% growth. The bill is going to come due for that stimulus, and we do not have the growth to pay for it. trump is not good at paying bills in general.

We keep coming back to the fact that the last 6 years have been pretty good. trump can take credit for continuing Obama's success, but he has no great success to show that only happened after he was elected.

    The real question is:

WHY DOES BLACK UNEMPLOYMENT HAVE TO BE SEPARATED FROM WHITE UNEMPLOYMENT?

WHY AREN'T WE DISCUSSING THE UNEMPLOYMENT RATES OF ASIANS, CANADIANS, ITALIANS ETC???????????

I'll tell you why, because you all won't be honest........BECAUSE WHITE CORPORATIONS STILL DON'T HIRE BLACKS............THEY HAVE BEEN DISCRIMINATING AGAINST US FOR CENTURIES and when they do, they pay them a lower wage than whites.

A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.
