I agree that knives are a lot less efficient for killing then our guns. Their murder rate is so far below ours. 3/4rs of our homicides are done with guns. we could sure reduce that rate by regulating guns. I am glad you finally understand.

Even if disarming only law-abiding citizens made sense in the first place (or weren't blatantly unconstitutional, like everything Democrats advocate), a lot of things could be accomplished by letting the ends justify the means. We could throw reporters in jail every time they are caught lying, for instance, but violating people's most basic universal rights to solve problems isn't a legitimate solution.
