Default Republicans Are Lying To Themselves. Except Mitt Romney

[Trump:] "I did nothing wrong. It was a perfect phone call."

[Several Republican Senators:] "What the president did was wrong, inappropriate, but does not rise to the level of impeachment." (Except Romney, who voted to convict.)

Well then obviously, Republican Senators are admitting they are acquitting a liar because clearly there is admission that what the president did was wrong.

And those who refuse to believe witness after witness after witness after witness, etc etc etc, (17 times) without even cross examining a single one of them? And the witnesses have nothing to gain but everything to lose? And then they decry those witnesses don't have first hand knowledge but they refuse to call any that do? Because they don't want to defy the president? Yeah. Those Republicans are lying to themselves if they believe how they voted.

It is very interesting that Mitt Romney, who once took a lot of heat over a comment about "the 47%," (which did as much damage as Hillary and The Deplorables) ended up being placed in a position in which he had to vote with the 47%, thus making it 48 - 52.

Because what Romney did was make sure history records him on the right side of this thing.

I still betcha that the Dems will draft this nut into their primary.
Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
    pain in abortion.

Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.

Not hard to see why the nation is so divided.

We hear the Republican cry, and we know why:

"You don't have any first hand witnesses!"

"(Because we won't allow any as a part of our cover-up)"

    "Gotcha!"

But, of course, what they really 'got' is themselves - into a bind because everybody can plainly see the cover-up is how they rigged the sham trial to produce a foregone conclusion.

And that is one thing everybody in the country agreed on. That Trump would not be convicted by a Republican Senate.

And why do we have a Republican Senate?

-Because Republicans have rigged the election system. Gerrymandering and voter suppression laws. What kind of political party wants the voter turn-out suppressed? -One that know it will lose if voting by all is encouraged. So they muddy up the campaigns and make everybody so disgusted they want nothing to do with politics. That let's them get away with it.

    Total sham trial.

The Republicans cower under the constant threat of being tweet-shamed.

It is an abuser-enabler relationship. Republicans except Romney have exchanged their morals for political power.

    We are not forgetting.

    Vote Blue No Matter Who.

    DT gets convicted November 3rd.

You mean the same people who suddenly think he's a hero? Just have him run for President again against anybody from the left. We'll have ads on how he hates women, his files "full of women", his dogs tied to the roof of his car, how his "rhetoric" caused some idiot to shoot somebody and every other attack they can make up at that time. He's their lover for a minute, like McCain...
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Believe nothing on the faith of traditions, even though they have been held in honor for many generations and in diverse places. Do not believe a thing because many people speak of it. Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests. After examination, believe what you yourself have tested and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.

Even with all of that, he's above average for a Republican.

RINO is the term for that rare Republican who puts country above party.

Right wing = lie, lie, and lie some more.

    Horse mierda, Snowflake.

The rigging was done in the House by the Democrats. Behind closed doors, no Republican witnesses, no cross examination allowed.

The radical Democrat Socialists own the sham charges in the House.

They also own a loss in the Senate...no crime, weak case, inept House managers.

One can disagree with Mitt Romney’s choices, but still find that in this moment he did the right thing.

Yeah, an we didn't like McCain when he was running either, but we warmed up to him real fast when he shot down the effort to kill Obamacare.

Obamacare is now enjoying a 55% approval polling. People LIKE IT. People don't like going without healthcare. People want healthcare to be expanded to cover everybody. Like other nations with longer life expectancy numbers do. Life is a good thing. Why should people have their lives cut short because of some super-rich guy's greed? (aka federal convict, and former Drug Company CEO, Martin Schkreli, the one that got caught.)
