Default Where did the idiotic idea that its the House's sole responsibility to call witnesses

So, where did the idiotic idea come from that the House is the only one who can call witnesses or gather evidence in an impeachment come from?

The White House says something stupid like that, and you fuckers gobble it up and look like fools.

Are you so incapable of independent thought that you cant look into such stupid claims?

They had witnesses. They called witnesses. They ONLY got the witnesses that TRUMP couldn't shut down and shut up. They wanted MORE witnesses, the ones TRUMP could shut up and shut down. Now THE SENATE NEEDS TO HEAR FROM THE ONES THAT WEREN'T ALLOWED TO TALK! The very last witnesses any senator wants to hear from!

They are claiming they should not call any additional witnesses because that was the House's job, who says?

You're so stupid to believe that anyone has said the above. No people know that the House has sole authority to impeach and the Senate has sole authority to try. House impeach on House rules while Senate try on Senate rules
