It is the wholesale benefits given to wealthy people regardless of how they attained their wealth which results in incompetent people owning companies and otherwise being in positions of power holding a thumb on the hard working people struggling to keep their families going. They have made the generational wealthy so powerful its almost impossible to say that our brand of capitalism encourages the strong and intelligent hard working people to end up on top. We end up with trust fund babies like W and Trump running the country.
We need some control on unfettered capitalism so this does not become even more of a oligarchy of wealthy families enslaving and living off of the labor and intelligence of the poor. We need access to healthcare for all Americans, we need a great public education system, we need access to higher education for the qualified poor, we need clean water and food. We need an unbiased criminal justice system. We need antitrust laws to be enforced.

well, first off all that bullshit you just said is complete bullshit. Unless you're saying that it doesn't matter how the people vote anymore because there's a secret cabal of government that picks our 'leaders'.......is our republic dead? secondly, we haven't had 'unfettered' capitalism for a long time. what we've had is crony capitalism and that is a direct result of stupid people, like you, voting for already wealthy people or people who are puppeted to speak a party line of bullshit about how they are going to work for you.........when reality speaks volumes about how they are in it for themselves.
the bottom line is the majority of people in this country either don't vote or vote for the continuation of those very problems you're talking about because they are terrified that the 'other side' is going to destroy the country. All while being completely blinded by their own idiocy in voting for just that.
