By reminding the Senate that Ukraine claimed no knowledge and Zelensky twice claimed no pressure is a defense. In fact, many judges would dismiss the case the moment the alleged victim denied being a victim.

But the Senate isn’t a courtroom, unfortunately.

The Dossier is *the conspiracy theory*. Or rather, it started one that had much of the media claiming the president was ‘a Russian asset’ and/or the president was compromised by ‘pee tapes’. There’s your conspiracy theory.

It’s always a good thing to portray your client as a victim in front of a jury and this should be a chip shot for Trump defense team. Because of the Dossier.

They won't DEFEND Trump...they can't.

It must be embarrassing for each of them to know people suppose that is what they are going to do.

They will say the least they can...and rest their case. They want to get out from under this bus they've got idling over them.

This is farce at this point.

For months I’ve been saying ‘it matters’ that Zelensky denies pressure only to have it waved off. Democrats will have to come up with something. Since these are Senators and not debate board denizens Democrats won’t be able to wave it off.

Where do you start? Zelensky is a weak leader that is unable to stand up to Trump’s ‘pressure’? What if someone asks for evidence of the claim?
