    Time for some straight talk:

When considering if Trump really did this crime against the USA of dropping aid to Ukraine to gain foreign help in the 2020 election, a standard Trump fan response is to attack Democrats ('They've been trying to impeach him from the start!') That's whataboutism.

Or the other one is 'But the economy!' Sorry. More whataboutism.

Without whataboutism, Trump fans have nothing.

One thing they refuse to do is actually consider that Trump is really guilty of this thing.

If they don't think it then it's not real?

The Trump fan mantra: 'must not think the forbidden thoughts...'

What Democrats have been doing since the 2016 election has nothing to do with whether Trump committed this crime against America.

What the economy is doing (besides being largely Obama's work) has nothing to do with whether Trump committed this crime against America.

What Hunter Biden did has nothing to do with whether Trump committed this crime against America.

It is illegal to seek or accept anything of value from a foreign country in an American election.

    Period.

Trump did it. That's the crime.
You give them too much credit when you use pathology to explain their behavior. Matters are worse.

They know Trump is a criminal, committed high crimes, and they just don't care. He is their criminal.
The whataboutism you described while true, is not what they believe, it is just what they say because there is nothing
of any substance whatsoever they can say except to call bloody murder a traffic infraction or digress, as you ably described.

It is far worse, the condition of this republic, than your psychological refusal to face facts theory suggests. They are malignantly indifferent
    to the crimes.

Democrat impeachment managers are systematically laying out a thorough case against the President. Completely damning to any unbiased juror. Painstakingly they are going through all the sorted details, leaving no stone unturned.

    What a waste.

All the Republicans hear is: "Blah blah blah."

Rep. Garcia is doing a great job of shredding the Biden corruption claims.

I'm just quoting your side, much more likely to penetrate your thick skulls if I use your own words.

So I ask again for the 5th time,

why when Biden and Obama withheld aid for 6 months, not 2 weeks, 6 months unless a prosecutor that refused to investigate corruption was fired, is that not high crimes and misdemeanor,
but Trump asking that they investigate corruption has us where we are today, the leaders of nut**bag nation begging like starving homeless people for republicans to come with them down this dark road of removal of a duly elected president

How awesome of you to find the good things in this travesty of justice!

    Here's another one:

Republicans actually voted to shut up and listen to Democrats for three solid days!

That's the crux of it, eh?

    Everybody knows he's dirty.

The only thing we're quibbling about is proving it.

the great thing about democracy is the Democrats have an opinion, and the republicans have an opinion
in these matters the majority in the house decide which opinion is worthy of impeachment
they send it over to the senate for the majority to decide who's opinion decides if it is worthy of removal

let us know how it works out for you

god I love this country, bad news for you is your side is you can run around acting like chickens with their heads cut off for three years, and our side can beat you over the head with it this November
